MailHarbor information

Terms of use

Last updated: 19 September 2026

These terms describe use of MailHarbor, a mailbox application maintained by Smet Software Solutions.

Owner-controlled access

The current private deployment of MailHarbor is available only to its owner and expressly authorized devices and accounts through a private Tailscale network. These public information pages do not provide registration or access to mail. The owner controls connections, credentials, application configuration and continued access.

MailHarbor can be hosted privately or in the cloud. To discuss a cloud-based deployment and its access, hosting and support arrangements, contact Smet Software Solutions.

Use only mailboxes and Drive accounts you are authorized to access. Protect account credentials and private-network access, and disconnect connections that are no longer required.

Review the original information

Unified views, labels, summaries and invoice routing help organize information. Provider changes, unavailable messages, document quality and extraction limits can affect results. Review important email actions and check invoice customer, date and destination details against the original document.

Documents with uncertain details remain for review. An automatically filed document may still need correction. Invoice filing does not establish that a document is valid, complete or sufficient for an accounting or retention obligation. Keep the original records and any independent backups you need.

Optional AI briefings can contain mistakes or omit context. Read the source message before relying on a summary or applying a suggested mailbox action.

Connected services and availability

Mailbox providers, Google Drive, Google’s Antigravity CLI (Agy) and Tailscale have their own accounts, permissions and service conditions. Their availability, quotas and authorization changes can interrupt MailHarbor. The current private deployment is maintained for personal use and does not offer a guaranteed service level or a public support subscription. Any cloud hosting arrangements need to be agreed separately.

Features and configuration may change as the owner maintains the application. The owner can pause automatic filing, disconnect services or stop the application. Disconnecting does not automatically remove previously filed Drive documents or source email.

Data handling

The MailHarbor privacy notice explains local invoice processing, Google Drive access, optional email briefings, storage and deletion requests. Review it before authorizing a connection or enabling a feature.
